1. Ideology: This organization adheres to scientific socialism, also known as Marxism. Scientific socialism is the theory and practice of revolution in the age of imperialism. This organization is a Communist organization because it seeks to establish communism (a stateless, classless society), by means of revolution and a resulting transitional socialist period.
1a. Revolution is the total overthrow of the existing system of social relations and the destruction of the imperialist bourgeois state. Revolution does not occur by the unilateral action of a small conspiracy, but by the collective action of entire social classes.
1b. This organization believes that the non-labor-aristocratic working class, principally the oppressed nations within it, is the class that will lead the united front for revolution in the US Empire, with sections of the radical petit-bourgeois and lumpenproletariat as allies.
1c. Imperialism is the final stage of development of capitalism. Capitalism is characterized by a state of affairs in which labor is carried out socially but the gains are appropriated privately through the regime of private ownership of the means of production. Imperialism is characterized by the parasitism of a minority of the global population exploiting the majority of the people of the world and by imperialist wars and other worsening crises which all merge together in the climate catastrophe.
1d. In the context of the US Empire, settler-colonialism operates as an “internal” form of imperialism which benefits settlers (all white people, and many non-white people) at the expense of indigenous and Black nations. Imperialism on the world scale creates the labor aristocracy out of the US proletariat, resulting in a section of the proletariat which consistently goes against its long-term proletarian interests in favor of short-term imperialist interests.
2. Unity of the Oppressed: This organization recognizes decolonization and national liberation, women’s and LGBTQ+ liberation, and the liberation of disabled people as distinct yet interconnected fronts in the generalized class war in the US Empire. The brunt of state oppression brought against these particular groups is not separate from class war but are instances of class war itself.
2a. With regards to other “fellow-traveler” organizations in the US Empire, this organization does not recognize as Communist other self-labeled “communist” organizations which produce and practice a reactionary line on any facet of national/women’s/LGBTQ+/disabled liberation.
2b. This organization recognizes that the negligence and collapse of one front will result in consistent disorganization and defeats for the class struggle overall. In the context of the US Empire, this organization recognizes settler-colonialism and white supremacy as principal contradictions within the US Empire that is present in all political milieus and must be combated. This organization regards settler-socialism and settler-Marxism as objectively counter-revolutionary tendencies.
2c. This organization will operate in a manner as to consciously unlearn and combat chauvinist tendencies within its members and adhere internally to democratic, transparent, and socially-accountable processes.
3. Practical Activities: This organization will pursue the organization of the working and oppressed masses in Peoria by advancing class consciousness. Primarily, this organization will develop and reproduce professional revolutionary cadres by study and practice. This organization’s activities will include but are not limited to: propaganda and agitation, political education, class struggle in the workplace, mass work within mass organizations, and red basebuilding (often called dual power). This organization will seek unity with other organizations which also follow scientific socialism.
3a. This organization will criticize other self-labeled “communist” organizations and attempt to reach political, ideological, and organizational unity with Communist organizations with which it shares a minimum unity of principles, whether through total dissolution and merging of groups or through a second-order democratic body such as a league or a federation.
3b. This organization will join in united fronts to achieve shared goals with other organizations provided that a minimum unity of strategy and tactics can be reached while retaining its own independence and principles.
